SF_BinaryInteractionCoefficients Tables
Binary interactions coefficients (BIC) improve the equations of state prediction capability by including a corrective term. If you plan to have the BIC generate non-zero values, use the following naming conventions in the Tables library for the SF_Binary Interaction Coefficients Tables:
- SF_BinaryInteractionCoefficients_filtered_PR
- SF_BinaryInteractionCoefficients_filtered_SRK
The Thermodynamics Extension retrieves values from these tables when adding components to the stream based on the “BICmethod” selection. If the tables are named differently or do not exist, the extension cannot determine where to get the data, forcing it to return an error. You can add additional component pairs with the relative binary interaction coefficient to the existing table. For both PR and SRK, kij = kji and kii=0.
